My Unplanned Sabbatical

A journey with follicular lymphoma

A Tuesday

Not a great deal to report today. Feeling Ok. A bit bored actually which I guess must mean I am improving. I tried to train but that was hopeless. Just not ready yet.

House was a flurry of activity with a range of people providing services, cleaners, painters etc in the house. All doing stuff. Petra was out and about.

I kept out of everyones way and worked on my tax returns which are due at the end of March. Hence the boredom.

The Duchini’s in America made contact today which was a nice surprise. Thinking I may drop into see then this Christmas and introduce the family to them.

If anyone has a suggestion for a good book let me know.

Cheers

    Hi Serge,

I have just had recommended a thriller called Restless. Not sure of the author. Some of the Bain partners said Might be just up your alley after the tone of your post today. Askin has also been loving a book called Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Justine

Hi Serg, new to your blog. Keep it up mate.
Books – how do you feel about the classics? Count of Montecristo is always a good choice, where the goodies are truly good and brave and courageous and the badies are the worst! Talk soon. Carmen

Hi Serg, re books the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ones are good and I’ve just started reading similar ones by Jo Nesbo, another Scandanavian writer. The Life of Pi is also a good read.
